National Leadership and Skills Conference
Minnesota SkillsUSA made a powerful impression at the 2025 SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC) in Atlanta, Georgia, held June 23–27. More than 18,000 students, educators, and industry leaders from across the country gathered for this premier showcase of America’s future skilled workforce. NLSC also included a SkillsUSA TECHSPO with over 200 exhibitors from industry and education making it the largest in the nation.
Representing Minnesota were 67 student competitors and 33 advisors, all of whom earned their place at nationals by taking first in their respective categories at the state level. These students joined others from across the U.S. to compete in 115 skilled and leadership contests—ranging from welding and robotics to healthcare and facility management—across more than 2 million square feet of competition space over three full days.
